Borden Murders

The Borden murders were the August 4, 1892 axe murders of Andrew and Abby Borden in Fall River, Massachusetts. Their daughter, Lizzie Borden, was arrested and tried for the crime, but was acquitted. The case is one of the most famous in American criminal history.
