Selena Quintanilla-Pérez (April 16, 1971 – March 31, 1995) was an American singer. On the morning of March 31, 1995, the American singer Selena Quintanilla-Pérez was shot and fatally wounded at the Days Inn in Corpus Christi, Texas.
