Ocracoke Island - Party Girl in Blue

There are several paranormal reports that surround Ocracoke Island and one of them is of the apparition of a woman dressed in blue that asks people about a party.

She is reported to be a very pretty girl in a light blue long dress has been seen in the vicinity of the lighthouse. No one has ever been able to figure out who she is but she is often seen walking after an evening summer thunderstorm has ended and she has even waved and talked to some people but she often vanishes and people are left wondering where the pretty girl went.

Those who have seen her claim that she has dark hair and olive skin and a beautiful smile. Some people have claimed to see her with a lantern. Those who have seen her say she makes comments about a party that is going on, but when they start to question her about what party she is talking about she simply vanishes.
